Omnibat
INTRODUcTION
As a creative, I had the exciting opportunity to work on OMNIBAT’s project. The objective was to metamorphose their online presence by providing a refined visual identity, a striking logo, a complete website redesign and SEO optimization, merging aesthetics and robustness.
VISUAL IDENTITY AND LOGO
One of the first steps in this exciting project was to work on the visual identity of the construction company. I worked closely with the team to understand their values, objectives and vision. Based on these elements, I created a visual identity that was unique and representative of the company. I also designed a new logo that captures the essence of their business, using colors and shapes that evoke solidity, confidence and quality. Website redesign
The complete redesign of the construction company’s website was a key element of this project. I worked on a modern, user-friendly and intuitive interface to offer visitors a pleasant and engaging experience. I rethought the site’s architecture, improved navigation and organized information in a clear and concise manner. The site’s pages were optimized to load quickly, enhancing the user experience and promoting visitor retention.

SEO OPTIMIZATION
I also provided SEO expertise to maximize the company’s visibility on search engines using mainly SemRush. I conducted in-depth research into relevant keywords and strategically integrated them into the site’s content, while optimizing tags and metadata to improve their ranking in search results. The goal was to be among the first results when a user searches for a term that refers to Omnibat (BTP, Construction etc.). The chosen keywords were:
- Omnibat
- Construction company in Dakar
- BTP company in Dakar
- Building construction sénégal

SSL Certificate
The audit of the previous version of the site showed that there was no SSL certificate installed or active on the site. The SSL certificate is used to encrypt a connection between the Internet user and the omnibat website. It also threatens to downgrade sites that don’t have an active SSL certificate on their website. As the certificate is automatically renewed, there’s nothing left to do! The site will be displayed at https:// for all visitors.
Website content
The audit of the previous version of the site was based on 4 main criteria:
- Website health
- Number of problems
- Number of errors, number of warnings
- Number of recommendations (Notices).
Search engine optimization (SEO)
We had 3 other companies competing on the keywords we positioned ourselves on. We had batix.sn, groupecse.com and oze.sn. Omnibat was not on the list of search results for these keywords. Now it’s at least in the first 5 pages of search results.
Search engine advertising (SEA)
Below is a summary of the SEA campaign between August and October with a budget of $30 to show the potential. Of the 258 new visitors, 121 came from the SEA campaign (Paid Search), 75 from direct search (a surfer typing in omnibat.com directly), 60 were organic (keyword search before accessing the site) and 3 were referrals (via a link).

This project was a rewarding experience where I was able to give free rein to my creativity while meeting the company’s needs. By working on the visual identity, logo, website and SEO, I was able to help modernize their online presence and position them favorably in their industry. I’m happy to have been part of this project and convinced that the new website will help attract new customers and strengthen the company’s reputation in the construction industry.
